Town Board Meeting Minutes
August 7th, 2018
*6:00 p.m.*

1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m.

Town Supervisors in attendance were: David Gollon and Kyle Levetzow. Excused were David Blume and Peter Vanderloo. Also in attendance were Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson, Jeff Haylock and Randy Beerkircher.

Everyone in attendance recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, David Gollon made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor, Kyle Levetzow. Motion carried.

3) Approval of Meeting Minutes from July 10th, 2018. Kyle Levetzow made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from July 10th, 2018 as presented. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.

4) Approval of Treasurer’s Report for General, Sanitary District #1 and Tax Collection Account. David Gollon made a motion to approve the Town of Dodgeville’s July 2018 Treasurer’s Report stating the following fund balances:

General Checking $ 128,952.08
Farmer’s Savings $ 256,487.75
Local Government Investment Pool $ 7,132.50
Farmer’s Savings Tax Account $ 0.00
Mound City Tax Account $ 158,732.48

Township Funds: $ 551,304.81
Tax Funds: $ 0.00

Kyle Levetzow seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon made a motion to approve Sanitary District #1 Treasurer’s Report as submitted stating the following fund balances:

Sanitary District #1 $15,726.17

Kyle Levetzow seconded the motion. Motion carried.

5) Bills to be approved. David Gollon made a motion to approve the August 7th, 2018 vouchers in the amount of $21,355.82. Kyle Levetzow seconded the motion. Motion carried.

6) Town Roads/Equipment Report. The Town Board discussed a possible 2019-TRIP project, actions being taken to correct culvert issues and ditching as well as the servicing of the plow trucks.

7) Clerk/Treasurer Report. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson presented a year to-date budget as well as the preliminary net new construction numbers for 2018 to the Town Board.

8) Discussion & possible action re: 2018 Fall Town & Village Workshops. David Gollon made a motion to allow any Town Board member as well as the Clerk/Treasurer to attend the 2018 Fall Town & Village Workshop to be held at Mineral Point on September 26th, 2018. Kyle Levetzow seconded the motion. Motion carried.

9) Discussion & possible action re: Unemployment Insurance Seminar. David Gollon made a motion to allow Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson to attend the Unemployment Insurance Seminar held on Thursday, August 30th, 2018 at the Iowa County Health & Human Service building. Kyle Levetzow seconded the motion. Motion carried.
10) Discussion & possible action re: Ordinance Chapter 7 Intoxicating Liquor and Fermented Malt Beverage Licenses Amendment. David Gollon made a motion to delay action on the Ordinance Chapter 7 Intoxicating Liquor and Fermented Malt Beverage Licenses Amendment to a later date. Kyle Levetzow seconded the motion. Motion carried.

11) Public Comment. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson distributed information received from Kriss Marion.

12) Adjournment. Kyle Levetzow made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:41 p.m. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.
