May 25, 2022 Board of Review

BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING MINUTES
TOWN OF DODGEVILLE
May 25th, 2022

Board of Review was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Town Chairman, Curt Peterson.

Members present were: Pam Johnson-Loy and Peter Vanderloo. Also present were: Assessor Barrett Brenner, and Clerk, Sara Olson. Absent were: David Pope and Kyle Levetzow.

Peter Vanderloo made a motion to accept the May 24th, 2021 meeting minutes as presented. Pam Johnson-Loy seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Peter Vanderloo made a motion to nominate Curt Peterson to serve as Chairperson for this BOR. Pam Johnson-Loy seconded the motion. Roll call: Johnson-Loy, yes; and Vanderloo, yes. Curt Peterson abstained from this motion. Motion carried.

Pam Johnson Loy made a motion to nominate Peter Vanderloo to serve as Vice-Chair for this BOR. Curt Peterson seconded the motion. Roll call: Johnson-Loy, yes; and Peterson, yes. Peter Vanderloo abstained from this motion. Motion carried.

Clerk Olson verified that the 2022 Assessment Roll was received and that she witnessed Barrett Brenner signing the assessor’s affidavit.

Clerk Olson verified that proper notice of the BOR was posted on May 3rd, 2022 in accordance to WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Pleasant Ridge Store, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. In additional notice was also published in the Dodgeville Chronicle on May 3rd, 2022. Clerk Olson also verified that Pam Johnson-Loy satisfied the training requirements for BOR.

Pam Johnson-Loy moved that this Board of Review is in compliance with the open meeting law. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Roll call: Johnson-Loy, yes; Vanderloo, yes; and Peterson, yes. Motion carried.

There were no objectors present and no notices of determinations to be completed.

Peter Vanderloo made a motion to adjourn the 2022 Board of Review meeting at 8:00 p.m., seconded by Pam Johnson-Loy. Roll call: Johnson-Loy, yes; Vanderloo, yes; and Peterson, yes. Motion carried.
