Plan Commission Meeting
Monday, November 29th, 2021

The Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission met on Monday, November 29th at 6:00 P.M. Planning Commission Chair Larry Nelson called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

Plan Commission Committee members in attendance were Larry Nelson, Curt Peterson, Pam Johnson-Loy, Paul Lawinger, Krista Dolan and Mary Wilson. Absent was Peter Vanderloo.

Others in attendance: Kyle Levetzow, Larry Forseth, John Dougherty and Phyllis Dougherty.

Planning Commission Chairman Larry Nelson verified that proper notice of the public hearing was posted on November 16th, 2021 in accordance with WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Pleasant Ridge Store, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. Mary Wilson made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda. Krista Dolan seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Pam Johnson-Loy made a motion to approve the September 27th, 2021 Plan Commission meeting minutes as presented. Mary Wilson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The Planning Commission discussed the rezoning application of Phyllis Dougherty to rezone 9 acres more or less from A-1 & AR-1 to AR-1 to modify the property lines of the existing 2 lots creating a 6 acre lot more or less and a 2 acre lot more or less located in the NE ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 24, Town 6 North, Range 3 East located at 5215 & 5216 County Road YZ. Curt Peterson made a motion to recommend approval of the rezoning application of Phyllis Dougherty to rezone 9 acres more or less from A-1 & AR-1 to AR-1 to modify the property lines of the existing 2 lots creating a 6 acre lot more or less and a 2 acre lot more or less located in the NE ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 24, Town 6 North, Range 3 East located at 5215 & 5216 County Road YZ. Krista Dolan seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The Planning Commission discussed their interpretation of the Land Use Plan in regards to the allowance of a one-time land division for the property owned by Larry & Melanie Forseth. The Planning Commission indicated that they felt that the property is eligible for a one-time split with the information that was provided.

There were no correspondence or other matters.

Mary Wilson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:56 p.m. Pam Johnson-Loy seconded the motion. Motion carried.
