AMENDED RESOLUTION 2008-109
FIRE CALLS IN THE TOWNSHIP OF DODGEVILLE
Resolution adopted at a regular town board meeting, held on the 7th day of October , 2008.
WHEREAS, under Resolution No. 109 recorded at the Iowa County Register of Deeds as Document No. 170353, the Town Board was directed to charge back to the property owner all or a portion of the cost of fire calls made to town property, as the Town Board may from time to time determine,
WHEREAS, under Amended Resolution No. 109 it was resolved that Resolution No. 109 is amended to provide that the fee charged to the Town of Dodgeville by the City of Dodgeville for responding to a fire call in the Town of Dodgeville shall be charged back to said owner as follows: The property owner shall be responsible for the first $750.00 of the amount charged and the balance, if any, shall be paid by the Township. However, if it appears that the fire call results from a fire started by the landowner which burns out of control, the entire cost of the fire call shall be the responsibility of the landowner
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Town of Dodgeville, is increasing the amount of money the property owner is responsible for to the first $1,500.00. The fee schedule on Amended Resolution No. 109 is to read as follows and can change periodically: $10.00 per hr. per man – 42 men, $4.00 per mile, $3.50 per thousand gal. – water. The fees listed in this resolution replace the fees in Amended Resolution #109.
