2010 SEAL COATING
BID SPECIFICATIONS

The Town of Dodgeville, Iowa County, Wisconsin, is seeking bids for seal coating for the 2010 calendar year.

Specification for bidding are as follows:
Emulsions: Specify type to be used for each application, including the amount of asphalt in emulsion, the viscosity, and the rate of cure. Also specify the rate of application and price per gallon.
Aggregate: Pea Gravel supplied by the Town of Dodgeville. Rate of application to be 140 tons per mile per coat of coverage per ton trucked.

Time period: Projects must be completed by September 1, 2010.

Bids: Submit bids on a per mile basis and with unit price. Payment will be made for actual materials used. Bids will be granted to the lowest responsible bidder. Mark Seal Coat Bids on both sides of the envelopes.

Any questions on the bidding should be directed to the Clerk/Treasurer at 935-5808 at the Town office. Bids are due in the Town Office by 6:00 PM on May 4th, 2010. Bids will be opened at the Regular Town Board Meeting beginning at 6:00 PM on May 4th, 2010 at the Town Hall. The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responsible bids.
